Behold The Man

With the mantle of mythology and Judeo-Christian stories set aside, the male figure takes center stage in this exhibit. More than allowing Jandy to brush up on techniques, the production of works for this show became a great opportunity for him to raise and consider important questions about what it means to be a visual artist and queer.

 

The Copper Ten repoussé series is included in this exhibit. The series was largely informed by the figure drawing sessions he has attended. The set is both inspirational and aspirational, expressing awe and desire.
